Terms of use
The plain terms for using this site and its estimate form.
What RestoreCast is
RestoreCast, operated by Beartico LLC (RestoreCast), publishes guides about foundation repair in the Oklahoma City area and refers homeowners who ask to 1 foundation contractor. That is the whole service.
- We are not a contractor We do not inspect, repair, or warrant any foundation. Any work is done by the contractor you hire, under a contract between you and them.
- We are not an engineer Nothing on this site is an engineering opinion about your house. Where we say "get an engineer," we mean a licensed structural engineer you hire directly.
- We are not the contractor's agent A contractor's promises, pricing, warranty, and workmanship are theirs, not ours.
How the referral works
- You submit the form We pass your inquiry to 1 foundation contractor, not a bidding list. The privacy notice lists exactly what they receive.
- We are paid for the referral The contractor pays us a fee for the inquiry. You pay us nothing, and the fee is not added to your job. The price you are quoted is between you and the contractor.
- What we check Our checks on a contractor are described on the companies page. They are checks of public records and stated facts, not a guarantee of workmanship, pricing, or outcome.
- No obligation Submitting the form does not commit you to hire anyone. Declining a visit or a quote has no cost.
- We may decline a referral If an inquiry is outside our service area, incomplete, or appears to be automated or false, we may not pass it on.
Information, not advice
The guides are general information about how foundation repair works in this market. They are not a diagnosis of your house, a quote, or legal, engineering, or insurance advice.
- Cost figures are dated reports from homeowners, contractors, and public sources, cited where they appear. They show what people have paid; they are not an offer, and your job will differ.
- Descriptions of cracks, movement, and "what is normal" summarize published engineering standards. Only an inspection of your house can tell you what is happening to it.
- Anything a contractor or engineer tells you on a visit takes precedence over anything on this site.
Consent to be contacted
When you check the consent box on the estimate form, you agree that RestoreCast and the foundation contractor it matches you with may contact you about your inquiry at the phone number and email you gave, including by automated dialing, prerecorded or artificial voice, and text messages. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply.
- To stop: reply STOP to any text, tell the caller, or email privacy@restorecast.com. The privacy notice explains what happens next.
- Your number must be yours Give only a number and email you are authorized to be contacted at. If a number is reassigned to you and you are receiving calls meant for someone else, tell us and we will remove it.
Using the site
You may read, link to, and quote the guides for personal and non-commercial purposes with attribution. You agree not to:
- Submit the estimate form with false information, someone else's contact details without their permission, or on behalf of a business seeking leads.
- Use automated tools to submit forms, scrape contact details, or load the site in a way that interferes with it. Reading the site with a search engine or an AI assistant is fine; we publish for that.
- Republish substantial parts of the guides, or the photographs, as your own content.
Content and sources
- Our content (text, photographs, tables, and site design) belongs to Beartico LLC (RestoreCast) unless a source is credited.
- Quoted material from homeowners, contractors, standards bodies, and public records is quoted under fair use, credited, and linked to its source where one exists. If you are the author of a quote and want it removed or corrected, email us and we will act within 30 days.
- Errors We correct factual errors when we learn of them and note the correction on the page. The sources page is where every figure on the site is traced.
- Contractor and engineer names appear as matters of public record or with the firm's consent. A listing is not an endorsement unless the page says so.
Other sites
Links to contractors, engineers, standards bodies, and public records take you to sites we do not control. Their content and their privacy practices are their own.
Disclaimers and limits
- The site is provided as is We work to keep it accurate and current, but we do not promise it is free of errors or that it will always be available.
- The contractor's work is the contractor's responsibility We are not liable for the quality, safety, timing, or pricing of any work performed by a contractor or engineer you were referred to or found here, or for any dispute between you and them.
- Limit To the extent the law allows, Beartico LLC (RestoreCast) is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or the referral, and our total liability for any claim is limited to one hundred US dollars ($100).
- Some states do not allow these limits, in which case they apply only as far as that state's law permits.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, and any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Oklahoma County, Oklahoma, unless the law where you live gives you the right to a different forum.
Changes
We update these terms when the service changes. The effective date at the top moves when we do. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new terms; a form you submitted before a change is governed by the terms in force when you submitted it.
