What we collect, where it goes, and how to say no.
Who we are
RestoreCast is a foundation repair information and referral site for the Oklahoma City area, operated by Beartico LLC (RestoreCast). We are not a contractor and we do not perform repairs. When you ask for an estimate, we pass your inquiry to 1 foundation contractor, and we are paid for that referral. How this site makes money says the same thing in more detail.
What we collect
Only what you type into the estimate form, plus 3 things the form records on its own. There is no account and no login. The analytics tools we use to measure how the guides perform are named just below, and none of them are advertising trackers.

- Cookies: Google Analytics sets its own first-party cookies to tell a returning visit from a new one, and Microsoft Clarity does the same where it is turned on. Cloudflare Web Analytics sets no cookies. The light or dark theme switch saves your choice in your own browser's storage, which is not a cookie and never leaves your device.
- Analytics: we use a small set of measurement tools so we can see which guides help people. Google Analytics 4 and Cloudflare Web Analytics count page views, referrers, and rough device and location (from IP, at the city or country level). In Google Analytics, advertising features and cross-site signals are turned off, and we use no ad pixels. Where Microsoft Clarity is turned on, it records anonymized session replays and heatmaps (clicks, scrolls, and mouse movement) on our guide pages to show where a page confuses people. We do not run it on the estimate form or the thank-you page, so it never records what you type there, and replays are not linked to your name or contact details. If we add or change a measurement tool, we name it here first.
- Search tools: we use Bing Webmaster Tools to see how the site does in search. It reads search data on Bing's side and places a verification tag on the site; it sets no cookies and does not track you as you browse.
- Hosting logs: the site is served by Cloudflare, which keeps standard connection logs (such as IP address and request time) to run and protect the service. The one piece we keep with your inquiry is the IP address the form was submitted from, listed in the table above as part of your consent record; the rest of Cloudflare's browsing logs stay separate from it.
- Calls and texts: we do not record or track calls at this time. If we add call routing or call tracking later, we will name it here first.
How we use it
- To make the match Your inquiry goes to 1 foundation contractor so they can contact you about a visit.
- To follow up We may contact you ourselves to confirm the inquiry, check that someone reached out, or ask how the visit went.
- To keep records We keep a ledger of inquiries so we can answer questions, handle opt-outs, and show a contractor which referral is which.
- To improve the guides Counts of which page an inquiry came from tell us which guides are useful. We do not build profiles of individual visitors.
We do not sell mailing lists, we do not add you to a newsletter you did not ask for, and we do not use your inquiry to advertise to you elsewhere.
Who we share it with
- The foundation contractor you are matched with This is the point of the form. They receive your name, phone, email, ZIP, what you are seeing, how soon, and your notes. Once they have it, their own privacy practices apply to how they use it. Your inquiry goes to 1 contractor, not a bidding list, and we do not resell it.
- Service providers that run the site for us Cloudflare hosts the site and handles the form submission. Your inquiry is stored in a private Google spreadsheet and emailed to us through the RestoreCast Google account. These providers process the data on our behalf; they do not get to use it for their own purposes under their business terms.
- Analytics providers Google (Analytics) and, where it is turned on, Microsoft (Clarity) receive site-usage data (page views, clicks, scrolls, device, and approximate location from IP) under their own terms. This is usage data, not your inquiry: we do not send them your name, phone, or email, and advertising features are off in Google Analytics. Their terms govern what they may do with the usage data. We honor the Global Privacy Control browser signal, so if your browser sends it, these analytics tools do not load at all. Cloudflare Web Analytics receives only aggregated, cookieless page counts.
- When the law requires it A court order, a lawful request, or the need to protect someone from harm.
- If the site changes hands If RestoreCast is sold or merged, the inquiry ledger goes with it, under this notice.
We do not share your inquiry with advertising networks or data brokers.
Your choices
- Stop the calls and texts Reply STOP to any text to stop that sender, tell the caller you want no further contact, or email privacy@restorecast.com with the phone number. We will add it to our do-not-contact list and pass your opt-out to the contractor. Opting out of contact does not cancel a visit you already scheduled.
- See what we have Email us and we will send a copy of your inquiry as we hold it.
- Correct or delete it Email us and we will fix or delete your inquiry from our ledger. We cannot delete a copy the contractor already received, but we will tell you who has it so you can ask them.
- Do not sell or share See the next section.
We answer these requests within 45 days and we never charge for them. We will not treat you differently for making one.
Do not sell or share my information
Passing your inquiry to a foundation contractor in exchange for a referral fee may count as a "sale" of personal information under some state privacy laws. We tell you this plainly because the whole site rests on being straight about how it makes money.
- Before you submit: the estimate form only does one thing, which is the referral. If you do not want your inquiry passed on, do not submit the form. You can still use every guide on this site without giving us anything.
- After you submit: email privacy@restorecast.com with the subject line "Do not sell" and the phone number you used. We will stop any further sharing of that inquiry and confirm in writing.
- Authorized agents: someone acting for you may make the request if they can show you asked them to.
We offer these choices to everyone, whatever state you live in. Where a state privacy law gives you additional rights, the steps above are how to use them here. Oklahoma's Consumer Data Privacy Act takes effect January 1, 2027 and applies to businesses handling personal data at a scale far above ours; we extend these choices now regardless.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiries in our ledger for 24 months so we can answer questions about a referral and honor opt-outs (an opt-out needs the number on file to work). After that we delete or anonymize the record. Consent records may be kept longer where the law on automated calls requires it.
Security
The form submits over an encrypted connection, the inquiry ledger is a private spreadsheet limited to the RestoreCast account, and the site itself stores nothing on its own servers. No method is perfect; if we learn of a breach affecting your inquiry we will tell you.
Children
This site is for homeowners and renters arranging repair work. It is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child submitted the form, email us and we will delete it.
Changes to this notice
When we change how the site collects or shares information, we update this page and the effective date at the top. Changes that expand what we share with third parties will be announced at the top of this page for at least 30 days.
